Eco-Friendly Ways to Keep Acne Controlled

Sometimes we think that, when it comes to skincare, the more artificial components, and scientific terms, the better. This is true in part since science has done a lot for skincare. However, it is not always the case. Sometimes using products much more commonly known as aloe vera, honey or lemon can be very beneficial and much better for the environment. In fact, as you will see throughout this article, there is a wide range of ways to keep your skincare eco-friendly.

Lifestyle

Before starting to spend extra money on eco-friendly products you may want to have a look at your lifestyle. Sometimes, small changes in your daily routine are enough to obtain the desired effects:

 • Cleanse your skin regularly. This is the most important step in a skincare routine. The simplest routine will include only cleansing and moisturizing and no extra bottles and products. Less is more.
 • Choose the right skincare. Don’t buy products just because they claim to be good for a specific concern. Get informed, see the compatibility of the product with other products of your routine and see its efficacy. It is better to have 3 highly effective products than 20 lower efficacy products.
 • Keep your hands off. This should be graved in stone in your head. Touching and picking your acne will make your current acne worse and make it easier to spread to other areas of your face.
 • Exercising. Sweating can seem bad for acne. However, it opens the pores, making it easier to get rid of any dirt accumulated in them and preventing acne. Moreover, it increases your blood flow which also contributes to getting rid of toxins.
 • Eat anti-inflammatory food. Having a diet rich in omega-3 fatty acids help decrease inflammation and, therefore, acne. Some ingredients that have omega-3 fatty acids are walnuts, spinach and salmon.
 • Drink lots of water. Water helps to remove toxins and bacteria on the skin, reducing the probability of clogged pores. Staying well-hydrated can also improve your immune system, supporting your body in fighting off infections which, in turn, helps prevent acne.
 • Take off your make-up. Although the ideal would be not using make-up and letting your skin breathe if you prefer using make-up, make sure you take it off before going to sleep.

A healthy lifestyle may be enough to clear your skin. Trying to balance your diet and exercise before buying products to fight your skin concerns is a great way to protect the environment from toxic ingredients.

Eco-friendly products

Organic ingredients

It may be the case that you have already included all those lifestyle changes in your daily routine, and you still want to go one step further to get rid of your acne. Then, one way to keep your skincare eco-friendly is to look for organic ingredients. Some organic ingredients are tea tree oil, witch hazel, grapefruit oil, and aloe vera. Because organic skincare has no harsh chemicals, there is significantly less waste and toxins going down the drain and back into the earth. Moreover, because of this same reason, these products are less irritant for your skin and are less likely to clog your pores.

Recyclable products

If you prefer to keep using chemicals in your skincare products, but you still want to have a positive impact on the environment, then you can look for recyclable packaging Thankfully, most brands are already changing their packaging to recyclable material like cardboard. Make sure you know how to recycle these materials since this may change from country to country. Also, make sure you separate the different materials in the product. For example, a plastic cup from a glass container. These must be recycled separately. Make sure to know how to recycle every time you go to a different country since each place may have slightly different rules for this.

FOREO ESPADA

Looking for reusable products is also a good idea to keep your skincare eco-friendly. These products can be used several times without having to buy anything or only a smaller part of the device after a long time, reducing waste considerably. For mild acne, we strongly recommend FOREO ESPADA. FOREO ESPADA

Thank you for sharing these amazing eco-friendly ways to keep acne controlled. It's great to see that we can take care of our skin while also being mindful of the environment. I especially appreciate the emphasis on using natural and organic products, which not only helps to prevent further damage to our skin but also minimizes our environmental impact. Another way to reduce waste is by using bar soaps and solid skincare products, which come in minimal packaging and don't require as much energy to produce as liquid formulations. Overall, I think it's essential to consider the sustainability aspect of our <a href="https://lumispareview.com/category/skincare-tip/" target="_blank" rel="noopener nofollow ugc">skincare routine, and your post has offered some excellent tips to help us achieve that. I really need to stop picking my skin when I've got pimples... If it wasn't for picking, my skin would be flawless after I've got my breakout under control. Thank you for sharing this great advice with us
