Hi I see you keep saying the small pink disc with the magnetic back is what should be used to register the device but it did not work for me so I used the serial number on the bottom of the actual device and that registered it successfully. The serial numbers are different so is the pink pad supposed to register something else other than the actual device for warranty purposes?
