So what do the PEACH™ 2 reviews say when real life gets hairy?

I am not a fan of the "beauty is pain" story. My threshold for discomfort is really low - this is why I stick to razors, but the idea of shaving for the rest of my life started to feel like a chore and a burden. Convinced by my colleague that IPL would not hurt at all and that it's a great long-term solution, I agreed to try. I liked how the device follows the curve of my arms and legs as the head is movable - it's really quick and easy to use. Bottom line - I did my 12 weeks and got out a razor only to prep for each  PEACH™ 2 treatment. This is definitely worth it.

My skin tone is a bit darker due to my Italian ancestry, so I was not convinced an IPL device would work, as they have disappointed me before. My hair is not as dark or thick but is really, really stubborn and grows back faster than expected, no matter what I do. I've just done week 8 (out of 12) and have done five rounds with PEACH™ 2. I must say I'm impressed. I see definite thinning, and it's growing back slower and slower each time. Plus, the flash is so fast, and the window is so large that I could do both my legs and arms in under 5 minutes. it was very easy to use, but the treatment window could get very hot if you use it on a high setting and don't pause in between areas. So, I give it a thumbs up and advise you to take a break after a few minutes each time.

If I do nothing to control my body hair, in a few months, I'll be a Chewbacca. My lovely wife has agreed to (marry me and) handle the hairy chaos on my back, neck, and these weird shoulder hairs that stick out from T-shirts and seem to have been getting worse the older I get. I've tried shaving, of course - but it results in a whole back stubble poking you under a shirt. Considering how hairy I am, laser is out of my price range, and I've waxed once and will never do that again.

I noticed the results as soon as 2 treatments were in, and I have finished the whole 12 weeks. PEACH™ 2 IPL before and after was quite remarkable for me, removing about 85-90% of the hair. I am not sure if it is because I was an excellent IPL candidate - A guy with dark, strong hair the device easily recognizes - or if it works like this for everyone. Either way, I would recommend this to all the uncomfortably hairy men who never ever want to go near a waxing strip ever again.

I followed the FOREO PEACH™ 2 hair removal device's instructions to a T and was surprised to find out that I don't need sunglasses as there is silicone protection against the rim, and the device will not flash until in contact with the skin. I started seeing serious thinning on my legs, underarms, and forearms in 4 weeks, which was much sooner than expected. The only thing I would have to comment on is that the flash window gets really hot if you use the device on the highest setting, as I did on my legs, and it won't flash if you lift it away from the skin so as not to burn yourself. But I've found an easy fix - temporarily lowering the intensity or letting the window cool for a minute or two and then continuing. Even with the cooling times, I was done with the whole body in about 15 minutes, while my old IPL device used to take up to an hour for one leg, as you needed to put it down, let it flash, and then move to the adjacent area. FOREO IPL has an option where you just hold the button and glide over the skin as it flashes, and I think this time-saving courtesy from the company is my favorite feature.

• One-month check-in: My hair is very dark and coarse. After four weeks, I've seen it get much softer and start to thin out all over.
• Two-month check-in: Bald spots are appearing, and the hairs that do come through are few and far between.
• Three-month check-in: I was not expecting this efficacy. The past few months have convinced me that it works, but I did not expect to be virtually hair-free. An occasional hair pops up here and there, and I just pluck it out with a tweezer.

The general impression of the device: Surprisingly, there was no pain, and at first, I wanted to quit as I couldn't tell if anything was happening, but the IPL gel hydrated my skin really well. It is very well designed, has a comfortable grip, and the long handle makes reaching the back of your legs easier without contorting.
