How to register your FOREO device

You’ve finally gotten your FOREO device and are all giddy about trying it for the first time, but realize you can’t use it before registration? No problem. It’s very easy and done in the blink of an eye, and you will get instructions on how to register your FOREO device inside the packaging. For those who are unsure and need some extra guidance, we’ll lead you through the process here and also provide some registration videos, as some people find it easier to follow visual instructions.

Why should I register my device?

We’re justifiably annoyed by the extra unnecessary steps in any aspect of our lives. But registration is necessary. It protects you from dangerous dupes and faulty craftsmanship.

Registering your FOREO device confirms that you own an original, brand-new, and unused FOREO product. If any problems with the device arise in the following 2 years*, you will not be left high and dry after you’ve invested in your skincare device. In case of problems and the device not working correctly, you can claim your warranty with the FOREO Customer Care Team by phone or through the app.

Registration of the device also rewards you with access to exclusive deals. As a valuable brand friend, you will have the first pick in special limited offers and promotions.

*Please keep in mind that FOREO is a global company that must abide by the laws of various countries, so warranty length may differ by country. Your guarantee will be for at least two years worldwide, but it may be longer.

4 steps on how to register a FOREO device

Before you start, ensure your phone's Bluetooth is active.

STEP 1
Download app
FOREO For You app is your go-to place for product registration, warranty claims, guided treatment, radical device functionality personalization, and much more. Download the FOREO For You App. Log into your account or quickly create a new one.

STEP 2
Add device
You’ll soon find yourself on the home screen and see the “Add device” button on the top left of your screen. Just tap and then choose the device series of your device (ex. LUNA™, BEAR™, UFO™, IRIS™, ESPADA™…). Scan the barcode using your phone or enter the serial number on the bottom of the device or product packaging.

STEP 3
Connect device
Your phone's Bluetooth should already be active. If it is not, do it now. To activate and sync up your device, press and hold the device’s central power button for 5 seconds. Follow the instructions and click the "register" button to complete the registration process.

STEP 4
Finish registration
Fill in the purchase info to finish the registration, and you’re all done and ready to use the device. If you’ve got a receipt, take a photo within the app’s scan window so you don't lose it.

NOTE: All devices need to be registered and unlocked before first use, but not all will have the Bluetooth connection option. You can register those without Bluetooth by scanning the code at the bottom of the device or on the packaging. The list of Bluetooth and non-Bluetooth devices is available on foreo.com.

Important warranty information

To protect themselves from fraud, FOREO can only accept warranty claims on registered devices. To claim a warranty, you will need to provide a picture of your device showing the serial number and proof of purchase, such as a receipt. If the device was a gift and asking for a receipt would be rude, just ask your gifter to keep the receipt safe with his other receipts, just in case (and thank them again for a great gift).
