Meet Lauren Kruger: Licensed esthetician talks skincare

Lauren Kruger is the newest member of FOREO family. In addition to servicing her personal client list, Lauren hosts product knowledge webinars for spa managers and partners. Let’s meet her, shall we? Q: We’d like to introduce you to our fans! Tell us a little about your skincare background. A: I have been a licensed esthetician for 9 years and have worked for several spas practicing facials with an emphasis on holistic treatment for acne and unwanted pigmentation. I am certified in microdermabrasion, chemical peels, body treatments, and aromatherapy. I have also been trained in the use of Skinceuticals, Arcona, Lifeline, Epicuren, Image Skincare, Leahlani Skincare, and Dermaquest.   Q: Now that you’ve been a member of the FOREO family for a little over a year, what are your favorite products for personal and professional use?  A: When I was first introduced to FOREO I knew immediately that it was a product I would beincorporating into my routine for years to come. At home I use my LUNA mini 2 plus and IRIS on a daily basis, and incorporate UFO Smart Mask multiple times a week. I love to use IRIS over my eye gel patches to push the mask ingredients deeper into my eye are for added efficiency.   Q: How do you approach skincare as a licensed esthetician? A: As an esthetician I practice a holistic approach when working with my clients. I believe the key to achieving healthy and glowing skin is to incorporate a mixture of appropriate skincare products, devices, and overall health and wellness practices. Every person has unique skincare needs and I find joy in being creative when customizing routines for my clients.   Q: What do you foresee for the future of the beauty industry?  A: I think in the future of the beauty industry we will see a meshing of holistic, natural skincare ingredients with high-powered medical-grade products and devices to create well-rounded and multidimensional treatments.   Q: We want to know more! Tell us about your personal background and interests.  A: Sure! I grew up in Huntington Beach, CA and have since lived in LA, Hawaii, and now call Colorado my home. In my spare time I love to hike, camp, swim in the ocean, and go to concerts depending on where I am at the time. I have a huge passion for skincare and the beauty industry as a whole and feel so grateful to create a life within this industry. I love continuing to learn and grow within this industry and truly enjoy sharing my knowledge and expertise with others.
