What’s in Our Bag: The FOREO Team’s Go-To Beauty Essentials

From one team of beauty aficionados to another. Here at FOREO, we’re kind of obsessed with everything beauty. From researching and developing innovative beauty products, to trying all the latest and greatest K-Beauty cosmetics, when it comes to skincare and cosmetics...we mean business. So, when asked to write an article about beauty essentials this week, I thought who better to ask than my own colleagues?! Without any hesitation, these beauty-geeks were more than happy to share a thing or to about the prized possessions they keep with them at all times. Follow along below to learn what FOREO’s finest have inside their trusty handbags. And hey, maybe you’ll discover a new product or two.

"I was never a Girl Guide* (though a definite Girl Guide cookie-enthusiast) but I firmly believe in being prepared for anything. Hence, while I never have actually used the travel bag that came with my Remington mini straightener for the straightener itself, I do keep it packed with everything I might possibly need throughout the day – Batiste Dry Shampoo in a yummy tropical scent, ISSA mini 2 Sensitive for a midday-brush, Tide-to-Go Pen for unfortunate hot pot dinner mishaps (they happen more than you think!) and of course, my Anker battery pack. Makeup-wise, my trusty Eco-Tools brush is currently missing its mate – aka Innisfree No Sebum Blur powder, because I went through an entire container of it last summer. I definitely need to restock before the hot weather hits – it’s great for keeping shiny skin under control! Also in the K-Beauty department, I am trying out TONY MOLY Magic Food Banana Hand Milk, but I am way too into the #PSL all year lifestyle to fully give up my current Bath and Body Works Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin hand cream. All and all, this kit ensures I can go from work to out on the town while still looking presentable – especially when I’m rocking my NARS Banned Red lipstick." *Girl Guide is the equivalent of a Girl Scout, Lane is Canadian and sometimes doesn’t translate!

"I collect minis like it's my job. When I leave my apartment, I like to make sure I'm always armed with all the beauty essentials I need- plus I love how cute they are! My go-to products in my bag that I always reach for are my NEST Black Tulip perfume, which smells amazing and has a long-lasting scent and my Urban Decay lipstick for when I need to touch-up my lips. Of course, an integral part of the beautifying process is makeup removal and skincare. That’s why I always bring my LUNA play plus and FOREO mini cleanser with me wherever I go. If I want to refresh my skin between work and going out or post-gym, this skincare duo is the perfect combination to help me look my best."

"It’s clear to see that I have a very minimalist approach to beauty these days. I don’t think I could survive without my ESPADA by FOREO. As someone with acne-prone skin, this device is my saving grace - and it really works! When my eyes need a touch up throughout the day, I use my Clarins Hydra-Essentiel Moisturizing Reviving Eye Mask. This intensive hydrating mask helps me look refresh and awake after hours spent working in front of the computer. Another one of my favorite products that I always carry with me is my Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment, it’s a buildable tinted chapstick and it even has SPF in it!"

"I am a very simple and organized person, so I don’t bring every single item with me for 'just in case.' In my bag, you can find crucial things such as my iPhone, charger, keys, wallet, headphones and sunglasses. However, I also keep my favorite beauty products tucked inside my makeup bag and I never leave my house without them. Since my hair is always in my face, I like to tie it up with a scrunchie. They are back in style and they don’t break or damage your hair - it's a win-win situation. My favorite eye pencil is from MAC Cosmetics in carbon black because it’s very long-lasting and it doesn’t smudge. Blush is also a must for me, because it brings my face to life if I’m too pale or don’t have any makeup on. My go-to beauty product is my MAC Angel lipstick, it’s a classic for a reason. If I’m in the mood to plump my lips a bit, I put my Buxom lip gloss on top of my lipstick, it has little micro glitters in it, which make my lips fuller and plumper. If there’s one beauty product I can’t live without, it’s my LUNA go, it’s always in my makeup bag in case I want to take my makeup off or cleanse my face. LUNA go has become my best friend, and since it’s a small device, it fits perfectly in my bag."
