All good things must come to an end. Boats, pool floats, beaches and bikinis--summer is arguably the best of all four seasons. But when summer ends, so do all those fun summer things. So, there’s no time like the present to enjoy summer activities while the sun is still hot. Here are our summer bucket list ideas:

1. Savor Summer Flavors

While the heat wave is still on, indulge in your favorite cool recipes and summer desserts. Make those popsicles you’ve been eyeing on Pinterest, pick up a snow cone or two, fill a watermelon with vodka, you get the idea.

2. Stage the Perfect Summer Shot

Snap a pic and capture summer at its finest-- you, on a giant unicorn float or inflatable swan, drifting lazily around the pool. If you still haven’t tried everyone’s favorite Instagram pool accessory, now’s your chance.

3. Grab a Good Book

Beach chair? Check. Tropical drink with a crazy straw? Check. The only thing missing is a good summer read. Use those extended daylight hours to get lost in some light fiction or finally get around to that classic you’ve been meaning to read.

4. Take a Road Trip

Pack your bags and hit the road with friends - or fly solo! There’s a big world out there waiting to be explored, and there’s no better time, or weather, to drive with the top down. Just remember the SPF-- summer doesn’t last forever, but wrinkles do.

5. Flaunt Your Summer Style

Summertime is the perfect time to have fun with your look. Come autumn, that all-white ensemble and strappy sandals will be a distant memory so get funky while you still can. Go crazy with bold, colorful makeup, put on your favorite cutoffs, and get down with your bad summer self.

6. Get a Hot New ‘Do

Chop off those locks & get ready to greet a new season with a brand new look. A fresh cut will keep you cool in the sweltering heat and give you a boost of confidence to carry you through the final days of summer fun.

7. Prep Your Fall Look

Sadly, when summer ends it’s back to reality--school, work, life as usual. But that doesn’t mean you have to lose your summer glow. Proper summer skincare habits will keep your complexion looking flawless well into autumn. Gorgeous skin is always in season, so make hay while the sun still shines and get your skincare in order. Fall you will be oh-so-grateful.   Enjoy the last of your summer, sunshine!
